The Red Lion Folk Club meets every friday evening at the Red Lion Hotel. Station Road, Whittlesford, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, CB2 4NL
The club starts at 8pm with a tune session and then changes to an open stage where singers and musicians of varied abilities and styles can perform in a warm and friendly atmosphere. There is no need to book a spot...just turn up !
This year's
Free Folk Festival will take place on Saturday 19th of July and will include:
Evening concert and ceilidh with Folk Rock Dance Band Swindlers and Gentry with caller Adrian Turnham (featuring members who perform with Albion Morris,Strangeworld,Shave the Monkey and Ian Cutlers Slaughterhouse)
